Aspen Parks & Recreation manages over 30 parks and playgrounds, more than 2,100 acres of parks, trails, and open space, two community recreation centers, a municipal golf course and outdoor tennis courts.
We offer year-round recreational opportunities that include aquatic, fitness and outdoor programs, recreation programs, community events, and youth/adult sports leagues.
We are one of the largest childcare providers in the city, operating before and after school programs, and day camps when school is out of session.
The Aspen Parks & Recreation Department also provides landscape management and maintenance for park sites and designated roadways.
Aspen also boasts of having the premier high-altitude community forest in Colorado.
